There is a wide range of facilities for your comfort: telephone, internet, laundry and travel agencies.

    You can enjoy food and live entertainment at the Restaurante Don Mucho's, wich specializes in pizza cooked in a wood-burning oven and fresh made pastas. Restaurante Tza Jalek, at El Jaguar, offers different cultural events on their menu.

    El Panchan is ideally located for getting to know the surroundings of Palenque. Misol Ha and Agua Azul waterfalls or the ruins of Yaxchilan and Bonampak may be visited on daily tours departing from El Panchan. If you are looking for something different, we suggest you visit one of the Lacandon communities nearby.

    Finally, if you want to relax and immerse yourself in Mayan culture, we have a temazcal or traditional 'steam bath' with the healing waters of El Panchan (bookings in advance required).
